Drinan Flops the Goods and Doubles

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Home town player Michael Egan raised from the button and small blind Georgios Zisimopoulos intended to three-bet. He picked out the wrong chips however, and ended up just calling by accident. Big blind Connor Drinan made the call as well and the three of them took a flop of {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

Zisimopoulos bet out 1,025 and Connor Drinan in the big blind raised it up to 3,200 almost instantaneous. Egan went out the way and Zisimopoulos called.

Zisimopoulos checked to his neighbor on the {2-Diamonds} turn and called the 6,500 bet Drinan made.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Zisimopoulos checked. Drinan shoved all in for 27,300 and Zisimopoulos went into the tank. He thought about it for a good four minutes and at one point almost folded, but tossed in the chips to call in the end anyway.

Drinan showed his {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for the flopped straight and Zisimopoulos flashed {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} before mucking.
