Chance Kornuth limped in from first position and Igor Kurganov completed from the small blind. Dominik Nitsche checked his option from the big blind and all three of them checked on . The on the turn saw both Kurganov and Nitsche check again and Kornuth bet 25,000. Kurganov check raised to 80,000 and Nitsche folded. Kornuth made the call. The river came the and Kurganov checked. Michael Egan just raised to 36,000 from the cutoff and Oliver Price called from his direct left before Benny Spindler three-bet from the big blind to 116,000. Egan did not waste any time and called, after which Price folded right away.

On the turn the hit and again the German pro checked to his Australian opponent. Egan opted to bet 125,000 and Spindler made the call.

Sukonthachartnant was in desperate need of a six, and much to Spinderl's dismay, he found it when the flop came down . Neither the turn nor river helped Spindler reclaim the lead and he sent over all but 185,000 of his chips.
Eugene Katchalov opened to 35,000 from the button with 457,000 behind. Igor Kurganov in the small blind carefully cut out 95,000 and slid his three-bet forward. Dominik Nitsche instantly folded and the action was back on Katchalov. He moved all in and Kurganov called.

Katchalov still had a small chance of doubling up but as soon as the hit the turn, it really was all over. The on the river was of no importance to anyone anymore, and Katchalov headed for the exit just before the start of the (45-minute) dinner break.
