The Aussie Millions Tournament of Champions Final Table Is Set!
The 2016 Aussie Millions Event #17 $1,150 Tournament of Champions final table will go off inside the Crown Poker Room later today.
From a field of 194 entries, ten players remain in the hunt for a $49,695 first-place prize and the LK Boutique Aussie Millions championship ring that comes with it. Each one is guaranteed at least $3,975 for making the final.
Hong Kong's Raiden Kan currently leads, looking to add to a resume that includes $866,303 in career earnings. Popular American pro Darryll Fish is close behind and is coming of a stellar 2015 and his first cash of 2016 coming in Event #6 here at the Aussie Millions.
Currently third is relatively unknown Polish player Szymon Sobanda with Japan's Takashi Ogura, who has cashed twice already in the 2016 Aussie Millions, closely in tow.
The UK's Eric Thiessen cashed in Event #1 and will come in right underneath, while China's Rotus Haoran Zhang, and Aussies David Leas and Chad Awerbuch, who has also had two cashes in this series, are next on the current chip count list.
This will mark the fourth cash of the series for Singapore's Calvin Tan Seet Pin and he's up next while it's Canadian Kyle White's third 2016 Aussie Millions cash and he rounds out the final table.
Play will begin at 2 p.m. with blinds at 4000/8000 with a 1000 ante and PokerNews will have live updates throughout until a champion is crowned. Here's how the final table will look when things get going:
