Douaglin Folds to the Three-Bet

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded to Joel Douaglin in the small blind and he limped. Lennart Uphoff checked his option from the big and the two players saw a flop of {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Douaglin checked, Lennart bet 85,000, and Douaglin check-raised to 410,000.

Uphoff thought for a long time before three-betting to 735,000, and Douaglin thought equally as long before mucking his hand.

Richard Lyndaker Eliminated in 7th Place (AU$160,000)

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Richard Lyndaker
Richard Lyndaker

It took a while but the Aussie Millions final table lost its first player of the day, and it was the unlucky Richard Lyndaker who departed after having his aces cracked.

He'd three-bet shoved on Lennart Uphoff the hand before and got the raise through; the next hand saw him three-bet to 385,000 and call all in after Uphoff four-bet jammed on him.

Uphoff: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Lyndaker: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Lyndaker couldn't have done any more and was powerless to a {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board rolling out to hand his opponent a set.

Douaglin Gets Lucky to Crack Ladies

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Brian Rast raised to 170,000 from early position and was met by an all-in three-bet to roughly 1 million from Joel Douaglin in the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded, and then Rast snap-called.

Rast: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Douaglin: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Douaglin was in trouble, but not after the {7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop delivered him a set. Suddenly he was a massive favorite and looking to dodge a queen, which he did after the {9-Clubs} blanked on the turn followed by the {6-Spades} on the river.

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Richard Lyndaker

The final table is still a seven-handed affair after Richard Lyndaker doubled through chip leader, Lennart Uphoff.

He found a great spot after he called all in for 950,000 from the big blind after Uphoff set him in from the small blind.

Uphoff: {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Lyndaker: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and the freshly-shaved American remains in the hunt.

On the Up and Uphoff

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Lennart Uphoff raised to 170,000, Brian Rast defended from the big blind, and the flop came down {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Rast led out for 235,000, Uphoff called, and the {3-Spades} appeared on the turn. Both players checked, as they did on the {J-Spades} river, and Rast showed the {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a missed gutshot. Uphoff then rolled over the {a-Spades}{5-Clubs} for the win.

Stavropoulos Gets Aggresive

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Manny Stavropoulos got a generous round of applause from his fans on the rail when he played back at chip leader, Lennart Uphoff.

The young German was playing aggressively and getting away with it. He raised to 170,000 from second position and took the blinds and antes. The very next hand, he raised to 170,000 from under-the-gun but folded when Stavropoulos three-bet to 420,000 from two seats along.

Uphoff Extends Lead

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Lennart Uphoff has moved further clear at the top of the counts after winning a battle of the blinds against Joel Douaglin.

It all started with a limp and a check to see a {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop. Action was checked to the {6-Spades} turn where Uphoff bet 85,000 when checked to. He then called when check-raised to 285,000 by Douaglin. The board competed with the {10-Spades} and Douaglin played around with his chips for a minute before he checked. Uphoff bet 355,000 and Douaglin released his hand.
