Third Time Not a Charm for Dan Shak

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Dan Shak, the winner of this event back in 2010 when he defeated Phil Ivey for the title, has just been eliminated for the third time after he reentered twice.

On this final hand for Shak, he was all in from early position for 7,200. Mike Watson reraised from the cutoff seat to 11,600, and everyone else folded. Shak showed the {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and was up against the {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for Watson.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, and Shak was done in by the king on the river. Whether or not he'll return with a fourth bullet will be determined in time, and we'll keep you posted.
