Players are now on another 15-minute break. When they return they'll play one more 90-minute level before taking a dinner break.
While you wait for the action to return, check out Lynn Gilmartin's chat with ex-rugby player, turned model, Kris Smith before he took a seat in his first-ever major poker tournament.
Action folded around to an unknown player on the button and he raised to 450, which Tom Grigg called from the big blind. The latter then checked in the dark before the flop came down . The button continued for 525, Grigg woke up with a check-raise to 1,500, and the button called, bringing about the turn.
Grigg thought for about 45 seconds before betting 2,650, and that's all it took as the button sent his hand to the muck.
While we were walking around the poker room, we heard a thunder of laughter coming from Didier Guerin's table. When we arrived on the scene, Guerin explained to us that the dealer accidentally dropped the deck after pitching each player's cards, and the hand was ruled dead by the floor.
If that's not funny enough, one player had , another had , and a third had . Surely there would've been fireworks, but because of the error, no shots were fired.

The under-the-gun player then slowed down with a check after the dealer had burned and turned the , and Juanda took the opportunity to bet 1,800. It did the trick and Juanda won the pot.
Despite winning that small pot, Juanda is down from the starting stack and sitting with 21,500.
Getting rivered in a bunch of small pots then won a weird pot vs kitty and now in a perfect squeeze spot had AA in bb, 3x open, btn flat...January 28 2013

A player opened to 600 from under the gun, Eric Liu called in the hijack seat, a player called out of the small blind, and Joe Hachem defended his big blind.
The dealer fanned , the action checked to the original raiser, and he tossed out 1,300. Only Liu called.
The turn was the , the player checked, and Liu fired 1,300. The player called.
Both players checked after the completed the board, and the player showed for a busted flush draw. Liu had that beat with , and raked in the pot.
