Big Stack Update

Very few players have crossed the six-figure threshold thus far in the Aussie Millions Main Event, but Brian Payne has. The Melbourne native is currently sitting on 140,000 chips, and appears to be our clear chip leader.

Gorr Gets It In Drawing Dead

David Gorr and Tobias Schwecht were heads up on a board of {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Schwecht checked, Gorr fired 16,000 into a pot of around 10,000, and Schwecht moved all in for just 375 more. Gorr called.

Gorr: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Schwecht: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Gorr was drawing dead, and a meaningless {a-Clubs} completed the board. Schwecht doubled to around 42,000 chips, while Gorr dropped down to around 8,200.

No Red For Raskin

On a {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} it was Micah Raskin who ended up all in for 25,500 chips. His opponent showed {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and had quite the draw against Raskin's {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

"Red, red, red," Raskin asked the dealer who put out the {2-Spades} on the turn.

"Red, red, red," Raskin repeated himself as the dealer burned and put out the {J-Clubs} on the river.

No red cards for Raskin but he managed to stay alive regardless of those two black cards. Raskin id in great shape now with around 55,000 chips.

Karamalikis Forced to Fold

There was an open from middle position, a player in the cutoff three-bet to 1,600, and Jonathan Karamalikis cold four-bet to 3,100. Only the three-bettor called.

The flop fell {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, and the player checked. Karamalikis tossed out 4,000, and the player check-raised all in for roughly 20,000. Karamalikis tank-folded, showing the {k-Clubs}, and the player mucked his hand.

Kwaysser Unlucky

Hungarian bracelet winner Valdemar Kwaysser has just been knocked out in unlucky fashion. The flop read {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} when Kwaysser bet 2,800. His opponent raised it up to 10,000 and Kwaysser moved all in after about 30 seconds. His opponent called right away.

Opponent {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}, {10-Hearts} and Kwaysser's opponent made a straight. The Hungarian was all in for about 10,000 chips and left the tournament area quietly.
