Antonius Continues to Chip Up
Level 25
: 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante
Given our limited access to the final table, we're not always able to catch all the details, which was the case with this hand.
We picked up the action on a flop which is where Patrik Antonius, who was in the big blind, check-called a bet of 155,000 from Mervin Chan on the button. Antonius then turned right around and led out for 275,000 on the turn, Chan called, and the completed the board on the river. Antonius took his time before sliding out a bet of 625,000, and after about a minute's worth of thought, Chan called.
We didn't see the hole cards, but believe the dealer said Antonius had a five. Whatever the case, Chan mucked and the pot was pushed to the Finn.
