Guerin's Bluff
Just before break, Didier Guerin let us in on a bluff he ran against Chuck Chua. A player opened to 1,200, Chua called, and Guerin three-bet to 3,500 in position. The original raiser folded, and Chua back-raised to 7,900. Guerin called.
The dealer fanned , and Chua continued for 8,900. Guerin called.
The turn was the , both players checked, and the completed the board. A few minutes passed, and finally Guerin asked if Chua had checked. He said that he did. Guerin then moved all in for around 25,000, and Chua instantly folded.
