For the past six days, the Crown Poker Room has hosted a daily freeroll on there Poker Pro Electronic Tables. The winners of each day advanced to the six-handed final, which concluded earlier today. While five players went home empty handed, the victor, Dean Blatt, walked away with a free seat into the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event.
Chris Barratt has had a rough start to the day and was down to just 2,700 when he got all in with and was dominating the of his opponent. The board did not provide any surprises, and Barratt doubles to 5,600.
After the hand, one of Barratt's tablemates jokingly asked, "Could Chris come back?"
Matt Wakeman just won his first pot of the day and that was reason enough for Leo Boxell to call security. Wakeman raised under the gun to 450 and he got three callers. The flop came down and both blinds checked to Wakeman who bet 1,050, only the small blind called. The turn was the and both players checked.
On the river the hit and the small blind check-folded when Wakeman bet 2,600. Wakeman announced this was only the first pot he won and Boxell jokingly replied, "Security! This man has just won a pot!". Wakeman has just more than half the start stack and he's going to need a lot more security for a comeback.

From the under the gun position Brendon Rubie just raised to 500. The player in the hi-jack decided to three-bet to 1,200 and Sean Keeton called from the small blind just as the initial raiser. The flop came down and both Keeton and Rubie checked to the initial raiser who bet 1,200. Keeton decieded to raise and Rubie was the only player who called.
The turn was the and Keeton now checked to Rubie who bet 5,100. This time Keeton called and the river was the . Once more Keeon checked to Rubie who threw out 16,100. Keeton folded his cards and Rubie took down the pot.
An under-the-gun player opened for 500 and was met with a three-bet to 1,300 by McLean Karr in middle position. Recent Australian Poker Hall of Fame inductee, Jason Gray, was next to action in the hijack, and he made the call. The UTG player also called and it was three-way action to the flop.
The UTG player checked, Karr bet 2,650, and both Gray and the UTG player folded. It wasn’t too exciting, but it did bring Karr up to 18,300.
An unknown player in middle position opened for 500 and Oliver Gill, who was also in middle position, made the call. The rest of the field cleared out of the way and it was heads up to the flop. The MP player bet 1,000, Gill called, and the action repeated itself on both the turn and river. At the showdown, Gill revealed for two pair with an ace kicker, which was good enough to win him the pot.
