We're not sure how it happened, but it appears Dan Kelly, who won Event #2 $1,100 Pot Limit Omaha and took third at yesterday's $1,100 NLHE w/ Rebuys final tables, has been eliminated from the Main Event.

Action folded around to a short-stacked Faraz Jaka in the small blind and he shipped his stack of 4,525. Maria Ho was in the big blind and asked for an exact count before tossing in a single yellow T5,000 chip and making the call.

Jaka was behind but drawing to live cards as the flop came down . Ho had paired her ace, while Jaka hit his queen and picked up a gut-shot straight draw. The was not what Jaka needed, and neither was the river. Jaka, who recently finished in third place at the PCA, was eliminated in the fourth level of play.

With about 1,600 in the pot and a flop of , Matt Jarvis bet 1,025 and received a call from a player in middle position, leading to the turn. Jarvis took the opportunity to bet again, this time 1,750, and again the MP player called.
When the hit the river, Jarvis put together some chips and came out with a bet of 3,150. The MP player thought for about 45 seconds before making the call, only to muck when Jarvis flipped over .

After a raise to 525 and a three-bet to 1,250 the action was on Rupert Elder. The former EPT San Remo winner decided to four-bet to 2,650 and that got the action back to the initial raiser. He decided to make it 5,025 and Elder was the only caller.
The flop came down and Elder's opponent bet 6,200. The Brit called after which the turn, the , was checked by both players. The river was the and Elder called the 5,025 bet. He got shown and mucked his cards.
Elder is still healthy with 26,000 chips but took quite the hit in the third level of the day. The break is now over and play has resumed.

We were perusing the Twitter feed during break and noticed that Faraz Jaka had tweeted that he was down to just 3,000. We dug a deep further and discovered why. Jaka explained on Twitter:

Ante: 25
Players are now on a 15-minute break.
The day was short for German pro Florian Langmann. The former EPT London runner up ran ace-king into pocket jacks and out the door he went.
