Antonius Busts Morris and Gets a Job Offer

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Patrik Antonius raised from the cutoff seat to 12,000 and Simon Morris moved all in from the button for 57,500. Antonius made the call.

Antonius: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Morris: {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

"Good luck," commented Antonius and Morris thanked him.

The board ran out {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Antonius' full house did the deed. Morris hit the rail as Randy Dorfman asked Antonius, "How do you run so good in life?"

Antonius smiled and collected his chips as Dorfman went on, "I want you to be my life coach. Name your price."

We're guessing that would be one heck of a price.

On the monotone flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Jeffrey Rossiter, Roman Zoch and Patrik Antonius all checked to see a fourth diamond in the form of the {3-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Rossiter and Zoch checked before Antonius bet 12,000. Rossiter raised to 35,000 and won the pot. He moved to 360,000 in chips with this pot.

Pecnik Doubles

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Chris Moorman opened to 12,500 preflop and was called by Howard Lederer and Martin Pecnik as the {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop saw Pecnik commit his remaining 69,000 over Moorman's 23,000-chip continuation-bet.

Moorman made the call tabling his {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to be trailing Pencik's {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

The turn and river landed the {8-Hearts} and {5-Clubs} to see Moorman brick his monster draw and double Pencik to 205,000 in chips.

Small One for Lederer

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Chris Moorman opened to 15,000 from the cutoff and Howard Lederer made the call from the button.

Moorman checked the {10-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} flop as Lederer cut out a bet of 31,000.

There wasn't too much hesitation from Moorman as he kicked his cards to the muck.

Patel Busts Newman

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Michael Newman
Michael Newman

Action folded to Michael Newman in the cutoff seat and he raised to 15,000. From the small blind, Hiren Patel reraised from the small blind to 38,000. After the big blind folded, Newman paused for a few moments and then moved all in for right around 270,000. Patel made the call and tabled the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Newman held the {J-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and had walked into a monster.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and give a little hope to Newman, but after the {A-Spades} fell on the turn, he was up and out of his chair before the {3-Diamonds} paired the board on the river. Patel won the pot with aces full and moved to 590,000 in chips.

"Fair upgrade!" Vos commented as he sat down in his chair behind his 332,000-chip stack.
