Winfred Yu made it 12,500 from middle position before Jonathan Karamalikis eyed his stack off and slid in 40,000-worth of yellow 5,000-denomination chips.
Yu's full time bank was utilized before he folded while slipping to roughly 40,000.
The following hand, Yu opened to 12,500 only to have Chris Ferguson three-bet to 29,000. Yu pushed his 38,500 into the pot and Ferguson called the additional 9,500 to put Yu at risk.
