Another Set of Fours for Evdakov Sends Hansen Out the Door

Level 4 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Nikolay Evdakov

Erik Seidel raised to 8,000 and Jay Kinkade called from the button. Nikolay Evdakov called from the small blind and then Gus Hansen reraised to 33,000 from the big blind. Seidel and Kinkade folded before Evdakov re-potted the action to put Hansen all in. Hansen made the call.

Evdakov: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Hansen: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Evdakov flopped another set of fours against an opponent's overpair. The turn brought the {Q-Hearts} and the river the {A-Spades} to keep the set of fours good and send Hansen to the rail.

After the hand, Evdakov said something along the lines of, "I thought you had two overcards."

"Hansen jokingly replied, "I did have two overcards."

Evdakov is up to 485,000 and leading the way while Hansen made his way to the exit.
