Combes Four-Bets

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Charlie Combes opened to 2,700 from early position only to have Andrew Teng three-bet to 8,000 from the button.

Once the blinds passed, Combes mulled over a decision for near on two minutes before making it 18,600 total.

Ten deliberated, and then mucked to slip to 93,000 as Combes collected the pot to move to 115,000 in chips.

Ben Delaney Eliminated in 18th Place (AUD$2,015)

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Jack Powell entered the pot with a raise to 2,800 from the lo-jack and managed to find three callers from his direct left with Ben Delaney, David Morton and James Keys all making the call as the blinds folded.

Powell checked the {5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop as Delaney tossed in a bet of 7,500. Morton made the call, but it would be Keys who displayed some aggression by bumping it to 19,500.

Powell's cards quickly hit the muck before Delaney started breaking down what remained of his stack before pushing it all in - which roughly amounted to 81,000. Morton passed, but Keys instantly made the call.

Delaney: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Keys: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

With a sick cooler of set-over-set potentially putting Delaney on the rail, the {3-Hearts} on the turn changed little and left him needing to spike the last five in the deck.

Unfortunately for one of Australia's most talented poker players - both on the felt and from behind the screen - the river landed the {K-Diamonds} to see Delaney bow out in 18th place for an AUD$2,015 payday as Keys soars to 205,000 in chips.

Small One for Keys

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

James Keys opened the button to 3,300 and Neil Channing made the call from the big blind.

Both players checked down the {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop to see Keys table his {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

Channing flashed his {K-Spades} and mucked his hand to see his fellow countryman collect the small pot.

Five-Bet Win for Lewis

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante
Toby Lewis
Toby Lewis

Sam Vakili opened to 4,000 from early position with Justin Walch making the call from the hi-jack before Toby Lewis three-bet the cutoff to 12,700.

With the action on Charlie Combes in the small blind, he cut out a four-bet amounting to 23,500.

Vakili passed, as did Walch, before Lewis instantly moved all in for 79,700.

Nearly four minutes went by before Combes kicked his cards to the muck to see Lewis snag the healthy pot.

Powell Surging

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Sam Georges limped in from under the gun and Jack Powell made it 6,200 to go.

Once the action returned to Georges, he made the call to see a {5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop fall and Powell continue for 5,500.

Georges made the call, and then check-called 21,000 when the turn landed the {3-Clubs} before the dealer dropped the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Georges checked and Powell pushed roughly his last 45,000 into the pot to force a fold from Georges as he slipped to 36,000.

With that pot, Powell moves up to 118,000 in chips.

Georges Double

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Facing a James Keys open, Sam Georges three-bet all in for his last 20,700 with Keys making the call.

Georges: {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Keys: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to see Georges collect the pot to move to over 43,000 in chips.

Aces for Combes

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

With the board reading {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, Charlie Combes found himself all in against Sam Vakili.

Combes: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Vakili: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The river landed the {Q-Hearts} to see Combes double through to 150,000 as Vakili was left crippled with just a few thousand.
