Lamingtons All Around

A member of the casino staff has just made the rounds through our four tables with another box of those damn delicious Lamingtons. Robert Williamson III was one of the first recipients, and it was love at first sight.
"I mean, I tend to favor most kinds of food, but these in particular are fantastic," he said, wiping the remnants off his fingers. Williamson and this blogger may have tossed around the idea of importing several kilos of the treats back into the States. The legal ramifications are still in question, however, and if Lamingtons aren't a controlled substance, they probably should be.
Across the room, Andy Bloch was taking delivery of his own Lamington, so we headed over to see what he thought. Bloch's reaction was a bit more subdued, shrugging and telling us they're "good." He didn't seem particularly enthused, but they must have been good enough because Bloch's desert quickly disappeared in two big bites.
