Poker Vox Pop: Vincent "Wonky" Wan
Vincent "Wonky" Wan called a raise preflop from the cutoff before the player on the button slid out a three-bet. The original raiser passed, but Wan made the call as the flop was spread with roughly 4,000 in the pot.
Wan checked and the button continued for 2,525 only to have Wan toss out five grey 1,000-denomination chips. Unfortunately not being enough to raise - but still enough to constitute a raise - Wan was forced to make it 5,050 straight which his opponent called after a lengthy time deliberating.
The turn landed the and Wan pushed his remaining 9,075 into the pot to put his opponent into the tank once again.
Several minutes went by before Jim Sachinidis called time, and with that, the tanking player kicked his cards to the muck.
Wan scooped the pot to move to 24,000, and we at PokerNews thought it would a good time to ask the 2008 Champion of this very event a few questions.
