Damm Delivers on Monster Draw
Warwick Mirzikinian started the action with a raise from early position to 900 with Saab and Kenneth Damm making the call.
The flop fell and Damm checked to Mirzikinian who fired 900. Saab then popped it to 2,600 before Damm check-raised to 8,000. This forced Mirzikinian to fold but Saab moved all in with Damm making the call for his tournament life.
Saab was in front with but Damm tabled a monstrous for straight and flush draws.
The hit the turn to give Damm his straight and a double up as the river bricked.
Following the hand, the players were arguing with Saab complaining about a bad beat as Damm defended himself by stating that he was a favorite when the money went in on the flop. Saab disagreed and this sparked Sam Korman to pull out a calculator and he worked out that Damm was actually a 51% favorite. Saab still wasn't convinced, claiming that his calculator was also wrong!
Saab is down to 22,000 with Damm up to 39,000.
