Game On

We're back from dinner and so are (most of) the players, and the cards are back in the air.

Tournament Director Mike Tarr has just announced that we'll be playing two more levels tonight before calling it a day.

Tanking Into Break

Right before the dinner break a rather large hand developed that lasted 10 minutes into the break.

Andy Stotlz raised to 6,000 preflop and Jan Suchanek reraised to 14,000 on the button. Stotlz called and the players saw a {2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop. The action was checked by both players, who saw the {7-Spades} hit on the turn.

Stoltz checked, Suchanek bet 20,000 and Stoltz called. The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Stoltz checked to Suchanek who moved all in for about 66,000. This sent Andy Stoltz deep into thought, ten minutes into thought to be exact. The entire lot of Studio 3 had emptied out for dinner before Stoltz finally made the call turning over {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, which was good against Jan Suchanek's {k-?}{q-?}.

Andy Stoltz is now on 285,000 while Jan Suchanek is busto.

SPIN-dler Out

Just before the break, Benny Spindler min raised preflop and his opponent Nico Behling made the call.

The flop brought the {9-Clubs}{j-Spades} and the {7-Spades}. Behling shoved all in and Spindler made the call.

Behling tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Spindler showed {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

The turn brought the {k-Diamonds} and the river the {3-Clubs} and with that, Spindler was out the door.

Banana Thief Takes Some Chips

Aleks "bananatheif" Brkovic has come back from dinner and is already stacking more chips as he has just eliminated an opponent.

All the chips went in the middle preflop. Brkovic tabled {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and his opponent had {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

The board ran down {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and with that, Brkovic was up to 140,000 and his opponent probably went to finish his leftovers from dinner.

Wong Doubles

Jimmy Wong and Joel Dodds got into a bit of a tussle after the dinner break. They got all their chips in preflop.

The flop came down {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Wong doubled through with his {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} against Dodds' {a-Spades}{3-Spades}.
