Power of Steicke

Since the break Steicke has steamed ahead.

First Steicke took chips off Jan Suchanek. Steicke opened the cutoff to 12,000 and Suchanek called from the big blind.

The flop came {6-Spades}

with Suchanek check-raising to 12,000 and Steicke calling. Steicke then check called the turn and river bets from Suchanek with the board completing {10-Clubs}

Suchanek tabled {j-Hearts}

thinking that he had bet enough to get Steicke's {3-Hearts}

out of the hand. Alas he obviously hadn't heard about Steicke's sick soul reading ability.

Just a hand or so later Steicke out-kicked Simon Morris, with both players holding top pair. Steicke check-called all the way down, as Morris bet every street on the {10-Diamonds}

board.

Morris had {A-Hearts}

against Steicke's {A-Clubs}

with the eight kicker playing.

Stiecke his up to 205,000 and Morris drops to 56,000.
