Krmpotic Kerplunks Dix

Michael Dix has gotten beat up by the deck over the past couple of levels and the following hand will help illustrate how:

Steve Krmpotic opened the pot with a raise from middle position and Dix called from late. The flop came {2-Hearts}

and Krmpotic check-called a bet from Dix.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds}

and once more, Krmpotic checked, Dix bet and Krmpotic called.

The last card off the deck was the {9-Spades}

and this time, Krmpotic did the betting. Dix just called and shook his head in disgust as Krmpotic tabled {Q-Spades}

for a rivered gutshot straight.

Dix mucked his hand and was left with just 15,000 in chips after the fact. Krmpotic improved to 45,000 with the win.
