Field Trimmed Back

Josh "JJProdigy" Field did lots of work in the early levels to build his chip stack up to a respectable level, but it's all come undone. He opened for 550 chips before the button player three-bet to 1,625. That folded the action back to Field, who put in the third raise to 4,550. The button player wasn't going to back down from this game of "chicken," raising all in for 13,600 total.

Field went into the tank. He clearly had a big hand, but the raises from the button suggested that the button had a monster. Field finally opted for the call, tabling {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. He was unhappy to see the button show {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}. The flop was all spades, {K-Spades} {4-Spades} {3-Spades}, but neither player had a spade in his hand. Field's opponent dragged the pot after the turn came {7-Diamonds} and the river {Q-Clubs} gave him a completely unnecessary set.

Field is down to 16,000 chips and will now have to start the rebuilding process.
