The board fell and Tran stays alive! He's back up to over 140,000 and has a little breathing room.
The turn brought the and Bloom checked to Tran who fired again for 65,000. Steicke put in the raise to 200,000 as Bloom stepped aside.
Tran went into the tank and used up two time breaker buttons and with only 80,000 chips behind he eventually folded as Steicke flashed for two pair. Steicke is dominating with over three-quarters of the chips in play!
They saw a flop of and Steicke led for 50,000. Bloom moved all in over the top for roughly another 180,000. Steicke took a look at Bloom's stack and decided to wait for a better spot, as Bloom get things moving back in the right direction for him.
Steicke led out with a bet of 100,000 and Bloom made the call as Tran got out of the way. The turn was the and Steicke again led out, this time for 150,000. Bloom again made the call as the biggest pot of the tournament was developing.
The all important river was the and Steicke grabbed two stacks of yellow for a third barrel worth 200,000. Bloom quickly gave it up as Steicke said "Nothing at all" and flashed !
Steicke's triple-barrel bluff gives him a commanding chip lead now with well over half of the chips in play.
They saw a flop and Steicke checked to Bloom who bet 60,000. Steicke made the call. The turn was the and both players checked. The river landed the and Steicke fired out a stack of yellow chips worth 100,000. Bloom raised his eyebrows and let his hand go.
Steicke is now up to 1.1 million with Bloom back down to 750,000.
They saw a flop of and Steicke checked to Bloom who bet 65,000. Steicke called. The turn was a scary looking and both players checked. The river was the to put four spades on board. Steicke led out with a small bet of 55,000 which brought a wry grin to the face of Bloom as he tossed his cards into the muck. Steicke is up over the 1 million chip mark once again.
They saw a flop of and Steicke led out for 75,000. Bloom announced a raise to 320,000 and put the pressure back on Steicke as the chip leaders collided. Steicke thought better of a big clash and let his hand go.
They took a flop of and Tran led out with a small bet of 50,000. It was enough to take it down as Steicke gave it up.
