Levy Running Good

Grant Levy and Kenny Tran
Grant Levy and Kenny Tran
Grant Levy has emerged after dinner to now be amongst our chip leaders. In recent hands Levy raised preflop and was called in the small blind. On a flop of {5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades} Levy fired out 2,100 and was frustrated when his opponent folded as he flipped {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for bottom set.

"That's five in a row!" said Levy in regards to flopping sets with his pocket pairs.

A few minutes later Kenny Tran raised from under the gun to 1,500 and Levy called out of the big blind.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Levy checked to Tran who fired 2,000. Levy then quickly reraised, making it 5,600 to go. Tran went into the tank for a long time before flashing the {A-Hearts} and folding his hand. Levy showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for top two pair!

Levy is now up to 56,000 chips with Tran back to 18,000.
