Naohiko Yamazaki Eliminated

Jozef Berec raised to 5,000 on the button. Naohiko Yamazaki called from the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Yamazaki led out for 3,000. Berec, who had Yamazaki covered, moved all in and Yamazaki made the call. The players showed:

Berec: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Yamazaki: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The turn came a meaningless {A-Spades} but the river brought the {J-Clubs} completing Berec's flush and eliminating Naohiko Yamazaki. With that pot, Jozef Berec is the current chip leader with just over 190,000.

Masaaki Iguchi Doubles Up

A very short-stacked Masaaki Iguchi just doubled up when his {A-Clubs}{4-Spades} got the better of the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} of Paul Adams. It looked like the end of the road for Iguchi when the flop came down {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. However Iguchi had a backdoor straight draw, and with the {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {K-Hearts} on the river, Iguchi got there. He is still very much on the short stack though with just about 5,000 chips.

James Potter Eliminated

James Potter joins the cast of those making an early Day 2 exit. Potter, holding the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}, moved all in against Shinhan Sid Kim on a board reading {K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Sid Kim made the call and was ahead with {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Potter missed his draw when the {A-Spades} hit the river. Shinhan Sid Kim took down the pot and left Potter to wonder what might have been.

Jacques Zaicik Eliminated

Action folded around to the player in the cutoff seat who raised to 4,000. Jacques Zaicik, on the button, re-raised making it 8,000 to see a flop. Elton Tsang, in the small blind, moved all in for 40,500 total. The cutoff passed but Zaicik made the call. The players showed:

Zaicik: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Tsang: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The flop was gin for Zaicik coming {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}. The turn, however brought the {10-Clubs}, opening up both straight and flush draws for Tsang. The {Q-Hearts} on the river was another of of Tsang's outs and it's arrival gave him the pot and sent Zaicik to the rail.

Jimmy Cha Eliminated

Jimmy Cha was just eliminated when he found himself all in pre-flop holding {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for Cha, he got action from the one hand that beat him; the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} of Ryan Collett. Cha failed to improve and was eliminated. Collett is now working with a chip stack of 70,000.

Michael Walker Eliminated

Michael Walker was just sent to the rail when his {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} ran into the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} of Alex Fitzgerald. The flop was no help to Walker coming {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn sealed the deal for Walker as he was left drawing dead.
