Andre Regains Lead

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

In the space of a few hands, Cyril Andre has regained the chip lead.

The recent hand saw Jiajun Liu bump it up to 335,000 from the button, with Andre making the call. The flop came down {7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Andre check called a bet of 250,000 before check calling for another 350,000 when the {6-Clubs} came on the turn.

With the {k-Spades} completing the board, Andre checked for the third time, only to snap call once more when Liu bet out for 400,000. Liu rolled over {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for queen-high, before Andre turned over his {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for top pair.

Liu Wins Massive First Hand

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

In the first hand of heads up play, Cyril Andre opened to 200,000 before Jiajun Liu raised it up to 400,000. Andre made the call and both players watched the flop come down {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}. Liu slid out 400,000 and was called after a short pause, as the {7-Spades} fell on the turn.

Both players checked their options, before the {8-Clubs} completed the board. Liu quickly bet out 500,000 and waited on his opponent. Andre then reached for his chips and slid out a raise to 1.5 million in chips. Liu then instantly moved all in taking Andre by complete surprise.

"Do you really have a straight flush?" asked Andre.

"I have the ace," replied Liu.

Andre then open mucked his {7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} which made a full house on the river. Liu obliged by tabling his {5-Spades} for a straight flush.
