Marcus Scoops a Nice Pot

After it's folded to Van Marcus in the small blind, he raises to 6,500 and Steven Djingga calls from the big blind. The players see a flop of:

{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Marcus leads out for 15,000 and Djingga moves all in over the top, easily covering Marcus. Marcus calls instantly and the hands are tabled.

Marcus: {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Djingga: {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The turn {9-Diamonds} and river {A-Diamonds} keep Marcus in front and he now is up to 170,000.

Pagulayan Eliminated, Saab crippled in 180,000 Pot!

Derick Hernandez raises to 6,000 and is called by David Saab and Alex Pagulayan.

The flop comes {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Pagulayan moves all in for 26,000.

Hernandez calls and Saab moves all in over the top for another 120,000.

Hernandez goes into the tank for a long time before eventually calling.

Saab opens {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.
Hernandez has {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.
Pagulayan shows {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Saab stands up and yells, "Hold up baby!"

There is a dramatic pause as the dealer exposes the turn card...

{10-Diamonds} Hernandez screams "YEEEAAHHHH!!"

The crowd falls silent as the river card is dealt, the {2-Clubs}.

Hernandez jumps for joy, winning the biggest pot of the tournament so far, eliminating Alex Pagulayan and crippling David Saab.

Sombero Eliminated

Local Manila player Wally Sombero raised to 6,000 from middle position and was reraised to 16,000 from Brett Parise in the big blind. Sombero moved all in for 40,000 and Parise instantly called and flipped over {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Sombero was in trouble holding {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

The board came {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Parise eliminated Sombero, collecting an 82,000 pot.

"Paul G" Out!

On a flop of {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} Paul Gianfriddo moves all in holding {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, but unfortunately runs into D'Amor Nario holding {K-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

The turn and river don't help "Paul G" and he is headed for the rail.
