Day 1 action from the first annual PokerStars.net APPT Macau Asian Poker Open is in the books. The players are currently in the process of bagging up their chips and drawing their new seat assignments for tomorrow. Among some of the big names to fall on Day 1 were Chad Brown, John Juanda, Vanessa Rousso, Van Marcus, Jeff Lisandro, Tuan Lam and Monsour Matloubi.

Play will recommence tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 noon local time. Many top pros lived to play another day including former WSOP champs Joe Hachem and Scotty Nguyen and Team PokerStars pros Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, Bill Chen, Isabelle 'No Mercy' Mercier, Masa Kagawa and Hevad "Rain" Khan.
