Big Double for Watson

A player in the cutoff raised to 4,500 after which the button and the small blind called. Mike Watson three-bet to 18,000 from the big blind after which the initial raiser folded. Rahul Byrraju called from the button and the small blind also decided to lay his hand down.

Watson bet 15,600 on the {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, and Byrraju made the call to see the {A-Diamonds} come on the turn. Watson fired again for 28,300, and Byrraju raised all in to put Watson at risk. Watson quickly double checked his hand to make sure he had what he thought he had, then called with the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Byrraju got caught with his hand in the cookie jar with the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The river completed the board with the {8-Clubs} and Byrraju sent over the chips to give Watson the double. Watson was all in on the turn for 103,400 and now has about 270,000 in chips.
