Sass In Great Shape After Finding Aces

Alan Sass, who recently finished ninth in the Macau High Stakes Challenge, just doubled up giving himself a great stack at the start of Day 3.

When we arrived on the scene Sass had 6,500 out in front of him after which Yury Gulyy raised it up to 20,000. There were already quite some chips in the pot and Sass moved all in. Gulyy called instantly and was disappointed immediately.

Yury Gulyy: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Alan Sass: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Sass doubled up. He was all in for 71,400 and Gulyy was left behind with just 3,000 chips. On the very next hand Gulyy moved all in and the player to his left, Marcu Lau, three-bet to 6,500. The remaining players folded, and Gulyy went to showdown again.

Yury Gulyy: {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Marcus Lau: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, and Gulyy was eliminated.
