Five-Way Pot for Toma

From under the gun, Michael Kanaan raised to 24,000. Tsugunari Toma made the call from the next seat, Alan Sass called on the button, Xing Zhou called from the small blind and Jacques Zaicik called from the big blind.

All five players saw the flop come down {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and action checked around. The turn was the {3-Clubs} with Zhou and Zaicik checking to Kanaan. He bet 55,000, then Toma raised to 115,000. Sass, Zhou, Zaicik and Kanaan all folded, and Toma won the pot.

Alner Moves In

Xing Zhou raised to 25,000 and Ying Kit Chan called. Andrew Hinrichsen sat on the button and decided to three-bet up to 68,000. Tom Alner, who had just lost a huge pot, was in the small blind and moved all in for 254,000.

Zhou and Chan quickly folded, and Hinrichsen kicked his cards into the muck after some deliberation.

Toma Crushes Tom

Tom Alner raised pre flop and Tsugunari Toma made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Toma check-called 29,000.

On the turn the {8-Hearts} hit and Toma checked again. Alner fired out 62,000 and Toma followed with the quick call.

The river brought the {6-Hearts} and for the third time Toma quickly checked. Alner put together a bet of 140,000 and slid his chips forward. Toma went into the tank for about twenty seconds before he decided to raise up to 315,000.

Alner clearly didn't see the raise coming, and he went into the tank for several minutes. Eventually Toma called the clock on him, and about half a minute later Alner decided to call.

Toma cheered as he slammed his {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} onto the felt. He had made the nut flush, and Alner could do nothing but muck his cards. He's now one of the short stacks while Toma is now in second place.

Sass Doubles with Kings

Alan Sass
Alan Sass

From middle position, Tsugunari Toma opened with a raise to 25,500. Action then folded over to Henry Wang in the cutoff seat, and he reraised all in for 314,000. Play then folded to Alan Sass in the big blind, and he called all in for less at 203,000. After a couple of minutes in the tank, Toma folded.

When the cards were turned over, Wang held the {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and was up against the {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Sass was at risk for less chips, but held the best hand going into the battle.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}, and Wang had missed so far. The turn was the {Q-Spades} to give Wang a straight draw, but that straight draw didn't matter because Sass would make a full house.

The river completed the board with the {7-Clubs}, and Sass had secured his double up to over 450,000 in chips. Wang was left with just over 100,000.

More For Zhou

It's been Xing Zhou's party so far here at the final table as he just extended his chip lead. Zhou raised to 25,000 and Tsugunari Toma called in position. Andrew Hinrichsen called from the button, and three players saw the {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop.

On the flop Zhou continued betting as he threw out 45,000. Toma called and Hinrichsen folded his cards.

The turn brought out the {8-Spades} and Zhou checked. Toma took over control and bet 75,000. Zhou quickly called after which the river brought the {8-Diamonds}. Zhou check-called 105,000 this time and Toma tabled {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Zhou showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and took down this pot.

A Couple of Hands, But Not Much Action

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

From middle position, Henry Wang opened with a raise to 25,000. The only caller was Xing Zhou on the button before the flop came down {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Wang continued with a bet of 30,000, and Zhou won the pot.

On the next hand, play folded to Michael Kanaan in the small blind, and he completed the bet. Tsugunari Toma exercised his option to raise from the big blind and made it 32,000 to go. Kanaan folded, and Toma showed the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

The next hand, Kanaan was involved again, this time raising to 24,000 from the button. Action moved to Ying Kit Chan in the big blind, and he reraised to 65,000. Kanaan folded, and Chan won the pot.
