Kang Crippled and Alive Again

The first level of Day 3 includes successive double ups, as the short stacks seem to always find what they are looking for to stay in the game. William Kang was left crippled when he shoved with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} from middle position, only to hear Tetsuro Tomita shove his own stack from the very next seat with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Tomita doubled up, while Kang was left with just 70,000 chips.

He put in the middle in the next hand with ace-jack, and got called by both blinds who checked down through the river. The board brought a jack on the turn, and Kang got back up to 260,000.
