Ledina Gets Over 10 Million

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Benigno Jr Ledina is the first player to go over ten million chips. To achieve that, he played a pot versus Linh Tran, where they both checked the {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, and Ledina check-raised to 650,000, a bet for 250,000 from Tran.

Tran folded, and Ledina is the first player to reach an eight-figure stack.

A cooler was the last hand that Eran Shaham played in the APPT Manila National event. He raised to 200,000 from the button, with Lee Wang Yong three-betting to 475,000 from the big blind.

Shaham went all in quickly, and Yong called even quicker.

Eran Shaham: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Lee Wang Yong: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The board came {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, and Yong kept his lead, sending Shaham to the cashier.

Hogyun Kang Eliminated in 5th Place (₱825,000; $16,167)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Hogyun Kang

Hogyun Kang was left with ten big blinds and found a good spot to put them in the middle with {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} from the button. Linh Tran was in the small blind with {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a second hand in the row and he called.

It looks like threes is the lucky hand for Tran tonight, as he won another all in, busting a player in the final table.

The board's run-out was {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs}, and Tran hit a full house on the river, to send Kang to the rail.

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Si Yang Phua was in the button, and opened with Linh Tran shoving from the big blind. This is exactly what Phua wanted to head with his pocket aces, so he called to try and double up as a big favorite.

Si Yang Phua: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Linh Tran: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The board was clear up until the turn, with the {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, and Phua was close to the double up. He had to fade only two outs, and the {3-Diamonds} was unfortunately for him one of them.

Ledina Again

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Benigno Jr Ledina won another pot, the fourth in a row, this time against Eran Shaham. Linh Tran opened to 190,000 from the button, and Shaham called from the small blind. Ledina popped it up to 500,000, and Tran snap-folded, while Shaham followed on the flop, putting in the middle almost half of his stack.

The first three community cards were {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, and both players checked.

The {a-Spades} hit the turn, and Ledina announced all in after Shaham's check. Shaham folded to give Ledina another seven-figure pot.

Ledina Keeps on Rising

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Benigno Jr Ledina just won another big pot, and this time it was against Linh Tran. The two players both checked the {9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop, and the {5-Diamonds} came on the turn.

Ledina was in the small blind, and bet 100,000 chips, with Tran calling from the cutoff.

The {6-Clubs} completed the board on the river, and this time Ledina bet 250,000, with Tran raising to 875,000.

Ledina tanked for two minutes, and then announced the call. Tran showed {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for ace-high, while Ledina had {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top pair-top kicker to scoop another pot.
