Short Stacks Battle over Buttons and Blinds
The three-handed action at the start of level 17 hasn't been that exciting. Each player seems to be testing out how strongly to attack the big blinds or how light to defend.
Bryn Kenney is on the button when John Juanda is the big blind and the last two preflop battles have gone to Kenney.
The first time Kenney opened for 350,000 and Juanda called. The flop came 
and both players checked. The turn was the 
and Juanda checked to Kenney.
Kenney bet 540,000 and Juanda called. The river paired the board with the 
and Juanda checked again. The paired board didn't seem to change anything for Kenney, as he bet 1.165-million. Juanda folded.
The next time Kenney was on the button, he raised with his standard opening raise of 350,000 and Juanda decided not to defend his big blind, folding and giving Kenney the uncontested pot.
