Sim Coolers Collopy For Million Chip Pot

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Things seemed to be unraveling for our chip leader Jae Kyung Sim, as he had lost every big pot he entered over the last 45 minutes. However, as often happens in poker, that all changed in one hand, as he is back up to 1.7 million.

Collopy raised to 32,000 from the small blind, and Sim defended his big blind. The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and Collopy c-bet to 36,000. Kim made the call, and the {6-Hearts} hit the turn. Collopy checked this time, and Kim took about 15 seconds before grabbing a stack of yellow T5,000 chips, and sliding it in, a bet of 100,000. Collopy made the call, and the river brought the {9-Spades}.

Collopy checked, and Sim wasted little time in announcing 400,000! He started slamming the stacks into the middle of the table, and Collopy thought for just a few moments before dropping chips in the for the call. Sim shot up out of his chair, and tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a full house. Collopy shook his head, showed the {9-Clubs} for trip nines, and mucked his hand.

After that huge pot, Sim is back up to 1.7 million, while Collopy, who has been first or second in chips all day, plummets to 245,000.
