Finally Some Action!

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

It took about 20-minutes after returning from the break, for some fireworks to occur on both tables.

On Table 6, Daniel Spence opened from the button to 13,000 before Milan Gurung raised to 53,000 in chips. Spence thought for a minute before making the call, as the {8-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{6-Clubs} was spread out on the flop. Milan didn’t slow down, throwing out a continuation bet of 55,000, before met with an instant all-in for 330,000 from Spence. He thought for a moment, before mucking his hand.

On Table 9, Andrew Nguyen opened to 12,500 from under the gun, before Bawod Hyunshik Yun raised to 30,000 from the cut-off. Nguyen leaned forward in his chair, eyeing of his own stack, contemplating his next move. He pulled out a stack of 5,000-chips totalling 100,000 and looked like betting them, before announcing all in, for around 400,000 in chips. Yun then waited a minute, before making the call, as both players tabled their cards.

Yun: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Nguyen: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

Board: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Yun flopped a set and looked in great shape, even though Nguyen had outs to a straight. The turn and river were no help, as Yun double fist-pumped to himself, scooping in the big pot.
