Zalac Staying Aggressive

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Ivan Zalac built up the chip lead on Day 1a by playing a ton of pots, and he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down today. His table has played five hands so far, and Zalac has been involved in everyone of them.

In one of the latest hands, we saw Zalac open the action with a raise to 2,100. The only caller was Vince Lazaruk in the big blind, and they saw a flop of {j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}. Both players checked, and the turn brought the {a-Hearts}. Lazaruk checked called a 2,100 bet from Zalac, and when the river brought the {4-Spades}, Lazaruk led for 6,000.

Zalac counted out the chips for the call, and tossed them in. Lazaruk tabled {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a rivered flush, and Zalac mucked his hand while shaking his head. On the very next hand, Zalac raised to 2,100 from under the gun, and he was three bet by Christian Friedrich to 4,400. Zalac asked for a count, and when he got it, he stuck in the rest of his yellow T5,000 chips, setting Fredrich all in. He simply chuckled before quickly giving up his hand, and Zalac got some of his chips back.
