Zalac Eliminates Borg
A big hand right near the media desk just took place before the break. It started with David Borg opening to 700 from the hijack, before being met with a raise to 2,100 from Ivan Zalac on the button. Borg then re-raised to 4,700, which was called, as both players saw the flop come down .
Borg threw out a continuation bet of 5,400 which was called as the fell on the turn. Borg didn’t slow down, placing another bet of 8,400 into the middle, as Zalac went into the tank. He eventually moved all in, which covered Borg, who had 5,200 chips behind. He made the call, and both players tabled their cards.
