Wong Doubles First Hand of Final Table

Kenneth Wong
Kenneth Wong

On the first hand of the 2012 APPT Seoul Main Event final table, action folded to Kenneth Wong in the hijack seat and he raised all in for 113,000. In the small blind, Andrew Kim made the call.

Kim tabled the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and was dominating the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} that Wong had shoved with. Needless to say, Wong picked the "Wong" time to shove and was in need of some help.

The flop gave him plenty of outs when the {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} fell. Wong now had a very live diamond draw with two cards to come.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and added some more outs for Wong. The river then completed the board with the {5-Diamonds} and Wong made his flush. He doubled back to 260,000 while Kim dropped to just over a half a million.
