Little Deja Vu

Yesterday saw the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event champion Oliver Speidel storm the chip leader board early in the day. Today we the runner-up in that same event, Kenneth Wong do exactly the same thing.

A recent hand saw a player open the action from the hijack seat and Wong then three-bet from the small blind. the player made the call and the {2-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop was dealt. Wong led for 1,500 on the flop and his opponent called as the {8-Diamonds} hit the turn. Wong again led, this time for 5,500. His opponent called and the {10-Hearts} hit the river.

Wong didn't slow down here, firing out 7,000. This is when his opponent min-raised to 14,000. Wong gave a shrug as he flicked in the call and his opponent said, "That's all i got, ace-high," as he flashed an {a-Clubs}. Wong turned over his {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and took down the nice pot.
