Jhana Hale Eliminated in 10th Place (KRW 10,800,000)

Jhana Hale was the short stack coming back from the break and as such was going to be getting his chips in soon. Well, soon has come, with Hale's elimination coming at the hands of Taewook Kwon.

Hale was under the gun when he shoved for 152,000. Kwon was directly on his left when he made the call. The rest of the table got out of the way and the two players turned their hands over.

Kwon: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Hale: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} had good news and bad news for Hale. He was now up against a set, but he had diamond outs. The {j-Clubs} hit the turn and changed nothing. When the {j-Diamonds} hit the felt on the river, it seemed like good news for a split second, but the paired board meant that Kwon had made a full house to send Hale's flush into the muck and Hale out the door in 10th place.

Rodrigo Ropes a Double

From the button, Rafael Rodrigo raised to 25,000. Vincent Rubianes three-bet to 60,000 from the small blind and action folded back to Rodrigo. He four-bet shoved for 210,000 and Rubianes called.

Rubianes tabled the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, but was dominated and behind the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for Rodrigo.

The flop, turn and river ran out {K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Rodrigo doubled.

Tom Alner Eliminated in 11th Place (KRW 10,800,000)

From the hijack seat, Tom Alner raised to 25,000. Taewook Kwon called from the big blind and the dealer produced the {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop. Kwon checked, Alner bet 39,000 and Kwon called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Kwon checked again. Alner moved all in for just around 175,000 and Kwon snapped him off with the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. His trip sixes had the {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} of Alner on the ropes and on the brink of elimination.

The river completed the board with the {2-Clubs} and Kwon won the pot. Alner was eliminated and the tournament is now down to just 10 players.
