The River Wang

Jacky Wang was left crippled early into the first level and managed to build back up to 11,000 in chips before this hand played out.

Wang started the action from under the gun, where he shipped it all-in. The play was sent flying around to Octavian Voegele who re-shipped for 52,000. All the other players were out of the way and Wang tabled his {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, crushed by the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Voegele.

By the time a turn card was dealt, the board looked a little something like this {5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} and it was bleak times for Wang.

The {9-Clubs} was the miracle Wang was looking for as he took the much the needed double-up and the unlucky hand saw Voegele stack falter.
