Grigg Grinning
On the outer tables at the other end of the casino there has been a slew of bust-outs in the first few minutes of play and it is Tom Grigg who is fairing the best after all the action .
We caught the action with a flop showing and Grigg leading out from the big blind position for 3,850. Joel Dauglin then made the call from under the gun and Jeff Bucher then announced he was all-in from the button. Without too much hesitation, Grigg then announced he was also all-in. If this wasn't an action packed hand yet, it was about to be as Douaglin then also announced he was all-in.
Bucher tabled for top-pair but would be crushed by Douaglin who turned over for top-top. Grigg would need an even better hand if he was going to take down the big pot and when he turned over for flopped-set it was looking good for Grigg to become today's new chipleader.
The turn and river bircked out and Grigg said with a smile, "Nice start."
