Scott Sent Sailing

Stewart Scott is no stranger to success in Melbourne, Australia managing to take down the biggest prize on offer in the region; winning the Aussie Millions Main Event and the $2 million prize to go along with it in 2009.

Scott moved all in preflop for his last 20,000 and managed a call from Kyle Cheong.

Scott: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Cheong: {k-}{q-}

By the time the board had ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} it was looking pretty good for Scott as the ace on the turn trumped the king that Cheong hit on the flop. Tablemate Ali Khalil even gave a loud "Boom!" for Scott as the turn card hit the felt.

If only poker were that simple though. The {q-Diamonds} hit the river and gave Cheong two pair to send Scott to the rail.
