Team PokerStars Pro Australia member Lee Nelson is still alive in today's tournament albeit his quiet play.
Heading to break with 19,800 in chips - slightly under what he began the day with - Nelson will have a 33-big blind stack to contend with when he returns to his seat for the final level.
Although quite short in comparison to some of the chip leaders today, and also those that bagged their chips yesterday, Nelson has had good success here at SKYCITY Auckland with a recent victory at the New Zealand Poker Open in the NZ$300 Pot Limit Omaha event. Combine that win with a final table last year in the APPT side events, along with many victories and final tables in neighboring Christchurch - and Nelson definitely has what it takes to go the distance in this event.
