Daniel Craker - 10th Place
There were 8,800 chips already in the pot when the river came down in a hand between APPT Auckland Champion Daniel Craker and Vanessa Rousso. Craker checked the board to Rousso, who moved all in. Craker asked for a count and was told it would be 12,475. Rousso had him covered.
After deliberating thirty seconds, Craker called. Rousso quickly showed for a rivered seven-high straight. Craker rapped the table "good hand" and mucked.
Rousso has taken a commanding chip lead in the early-going, as she is up to 27,600. "Why couldn't you do this in the couples tournament?" joked Chad Brown.
