You would think that, poker being what it is, it'd be hard for a world champion to remain anonymous in a room full of poker players. In fact, if you wandered by Table 10 you probably wouldn't glance twice at the player in Seat 6. He has glasses and a mustache and is a bit older than the average player these days, but other than that he probably wouldn't register on your radar screen. And yet, he's a world champion. Brad Daugherty is his name, and in 1991 he finished first of 215 players in the $10,000 Main Event of the World Series of Poker, collecting a cool $1,000,000 for his efforts.
Daugherty is slightly above the starting stack. He recently won a small raised pot against Sunshine Samson and another player by betting a flop and getting no callers.
