A Little Luck for the Chuck Truck

Another limped pot got ugly very quickly. After Edward Sabat folded the button, Diwei Huang completed the small blind and Charles Chua checked his option.

The flop came {6-Hearts} {a-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}. Huang bet 40,000 and Chua quickly called. When the turn was the {J-Clubs}, Huang fired again for 80,000. Chua took a bit longer before announcing a raise to 230,000. Huang mulled it over and decided to call.

On the river {K-Spades}, both players checked. Huang showed {10-Hearts} {4-Hearts} for bottom pair; Chua showed {K-Clubs} {5-Hearts} for a pair of kings on the river. That was the winner.

Chua Collects With Aces

Charles Chua raised it up to 110,000 from the button, Edward Sabat called from the small blind and Diwei Huang folded his big blind.

They saw a flop of {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Sabat checked to Chua who fired a continuation bet of 150,000. Sabat made the call.

The turn brought the {4-Hearts} and Sabat led out this time for 180,000. Chua thought for a few moments before moving all in. Sabat insta-folded with a grin as Chua flashed {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, saying that was the first time he'd picked up pocket aces all tournament!

Fortunes Changing

On the first hand of three-handed play, Charles Chua folded the button. Sitting in the small blind, Edward Sabat raised to 145,000. Diwei Huang made the call in position.

The flop came all Broadway, {J-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}. Sabat wasted no time in firing out a continuation bet of 220,000 that Huang called. He slowed down when the {K-Clubs} hit the turn, choosing to check it over to Huang. Huang obliged with a bet of 150,000 that Sabat called.

The river was another king, the {K-Spades}. "The board is all paint," said MC Tony Dunst. Sabat took close to a minute before betting 500,000. After a minute and a half, Huang called. "Yes!" exclaimed an excited Sabat as he turned over {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} for a full house, kings full of queens. Huang mucked.

Sabat Making Life Easier

Edward Sabat has moved around the table from seat one to seat six. Some players might be superstitious and prefer to maintain their seat for the duration of the final table, but Sabat is obviously considerate of the dealers with all three players now seated at the same end of the table.

Time Out

The tournament clock is once again paused so that Erin McNaught can conduct a quick bust-out interview with Mikael Rosen.

Mikael Rosen Eliminated in 4th Place ($108,600)

Mikael Rosen moved all in for his last 165,000 from the button and Charles Chua made the call in the big blind.

Chua: {K-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Rosen: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} to give Rosen a huge draw with flush and straight possibilities, to go with his pair outs.

However the turn was the {8-Hearts} and river the {A-Spades}, missing Rosen and sending him to the rail in 4th place for a payday of $108,600.

Chua is now up over 1.1 million chips and right in contention for the title.
