Van Marcus checked in the small blind over to the player in the big blind who fired out 1,200. Marcus made the call and the big blind tossed his cards into the muck.Marcus was then going to muck his cards as the pot had been conceded to Marcus, but his opponent was adamant that Marcus should have to show his cards to win the pot. The floor was called and it was explained that since the player mucked his cards, Marcus didn't have to show his to win the pot. However after some discussion, Marcus was gracious enough to show anyway as he revealed
for two pair. Marcus is now up to 25,000.
