Lee Acting Up a Storm on the River
Level 18
: 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Chiu Yeung Lee has just collected one of his first pots of this final table and, as has become standard for Lee, there were plenty of theatrics associated with it.
The pot wasn’t huge as Jonathan Bredin raised preflop, bet 15,000 on the flop before both players checked the turn to see the board read . This is where things got rather silly.
Lee was first to act and he appeared to love the attention, sitting in the tank for a good three minutes. Maybe even longer. He cut down his chips several times, threw up a few smiles and even waved at Bredin in a rather awkward moment.
Eventually Lee threw out 20,000 and Bredin quickly looked it up with for ace-high, but it was all Hollywood by Lee as he opened for trip nines.
